This sturdy dry wipe board has phoneme boxes and writing lines on one side and a blank white board on the reverse.
It is useful for trying out spellings focussing on up to four phonemes (or even longer words up to four syllables).
The boxes can be used for the development of phonological skills, initially counters can be used to represent the sounds heard when saying a word. This would then translate into the letter representing that sound.
