Description
This game focuses on the tables 2 – 9. It can be played by a group of children working on a particular table, but only has enough boards for two working on the same table. Additional sets of boards can be purchased for 1.50. Each table is practised at two levels of mastery – initially in number order 1x, 2x, 3x, etc. then randomly. The boards are colour coded, that is, each table appears in its own colour. The number answers in each colour table are subconsiously associated with its mutiples, e.g. the number 49 is only ever seen in green, the colour of the 7 x table. The game is therefore useful in facilitating the learning of facts relating to division and fractions.
