Description
There are many multiplication table squares. What makes this one different is the focus on square numbers. A diagonal line of red squares identify the square numbers on both sides of the board i.e. 4, 9, 16, 25 etc. One only needs to know the table facts on one side of the diagonal to be able to use the reverse function to fill in the table facts on the other side, i.e. if I know that 3×4=12, I know that 4×3=12. This is a dry wipe board for the individual, on one side the squares are blank for the pupil to fill, the other side is a normal table square, supporting problem solving for the pupils who do not yet know all their table facts.
